My Background
The Internet today is gratis, but not libre. I believe that token-powered protocols are our best bet to move more of the Internet out of walled gardens and into something globally accessible, composable, and community-owned.
Prior, I've built a career as an operator and have started and advised a number of startups. My specialty lies in fintech, data and scaling operations.
In web3 & governance, I have contributed to ecosystems such as Optimism, Nouns, Uniswap, and ENS.
Areas of focus
As a delegate, here are areas I will focus on:
- Strong Governance: This includes strong incentive design and ways to reduce the principal-agent problem. Skin in the game is a critical piece of any effective governance system, ensuring alignment between stakeholders and decision-makers.
- Security & Trust: We all build on top of Ethereum because we believe in its foundational principles of security and trust. Ensuring these qualities are maintained is essential for the long-term success of any protocol.
- Positive Sum Growth: I am passionate about fostering growth that benefits all participants. Positive sum growth is about creating systems where the success of one contributes to the success of all, leading to a more robust and thriving ecosystem.
- Enabling Builders to Build: Supporting developers and builders is crucial for innovation. By providing the right tools, resources, and environment, we can empower them to create and improve protocols, driving the ecosystem forward.
Commitment & Vision
I am passionate about governance innovation and ecosystem growth. As a builder myself, I believe in ether.fi’s mission and vision and am committed to being a responsible steward and to support ether.fi's path towards progressively and productively decentralizing.
Disclosure: I am also one of the co-founders of Agora, an open-source governance platform used by ether.fi.
